The Weight of the Gods
The year is 2042, and the United States has become more divided than ever as EVs (Evolved Humans), Normals (non-powered humans) and Homegrowns (militant Normals who resent the existence of EVs) struggle to coexist. In the midst of the brewing conflict, the murder of a highly influential EV leader reveals a dark agenda for EVs, and an uncertain future for normal humans. A select group of EVs must battle the system and learn that along with the power of the gods comes the weight of responsibility to protect humanity.
Bio
Michael Brunelle began his career as an actor before moving behind the scenes working in the story department under Academy Award Winner Michael Phillips. There he developed a passion for creating and developing screenplays, with his first one becoming a semi-finalist in the Damon and Affleck produced series Project Greenlight.
Michael left the industry to raise a family, and after nearly two decades working in corporate America, Michael was inspired to use that experience and create the superhero series The Weight of the Gods. Michael lives with his family in the Pacific Northwest.
